There were smiles all round as 100 VIP members of Chorley Youth Zone were treated to a special trip to Wigan Youth Zone on Saturday 20th January 2018. From indoor climbing and dance to music and media, there was something for everyone as Chorley’s young people were given an inside look into what activities will be on offer to them in less than four months’ time.
The lucky group will also be the first to gain access to Inspire Youth Zone at an exclusive VIP members-only event in April 2018.
During the trip, Chorley’s young people took part in a whole host of activities including basketball, dance, arts & crafts, indoor climbing, dodgeball, media and much more. They also enjoyed a delicious hot meal whilst making friends with Wigan Youth Zone members. After a fun-filled day exploring what a Youth Zone has to offer, the Inspire team received rave reviews from both young people and parents about the trip.
On reviewing the trip organised by Inspire Youth Zone one parent said: “Thank you to you all. It was lovely meeting you and seeing your enthusiasm. You’re a fabulous team and I’m so delighted you have given my son such an amazing, safe and inspiring opportunity in which to grow up. In his words, today was ‘Epic’.”
