ESG, EMPOWERING YOUNG MINDS

With a shared dedication of empowering young people and driving positive change, we are delighted to welcome ESG on board as Platinum Patrons. Having been ad hoc supporters of Inspire since we opened five years ago, we are honoured that they have chosen to become ‘official’ partners, solidifying their commitment to supporting the town’s younger generation.

ESG’s primary goal of enhancing energy companies’ performance aligns seamlessly with our commitment to enhancing young people’ futures. To celebrate the partnership, Inspire headed out to see the team over at ESG where we were joined by Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, to officially welcome them to the Inspire family.

Speaking at the event, Matt Hirst, CEO of ESG said:

“We’re very proud to now be fully fledged partners of Inspire. I’m massively impressed with everything they do, both within their incredible facility and further out in the community.”

Sir Lindsay Hoyle, a passionate supporter of Inspire, added:

“A huge thank you to ESG for getting involved with Inspire and supporting. We all know that Chorley is a great place to live, but you’re making a huge difference and making it a better place to live”.

Without support from businesses like ESG, we simply couldn’t do what we do. At the event, our CEO, Janine Blythe, spoke about how:

“over the past five years, we have supported over two-thirds of the town’s young people, surpassing our own expectations and pushing us to develop and expand our offer.”

In five years we have delivered over 15,000 hours of youth work… and we’re not stopping here. We’re proud to be there for all young people offering life changing opportunities and we’re especially proud to be there for the ones who need us most.

Janine concluded by saying:

“There is an open invitation to any local business or individual who would like to come to the centre and see what we do and how they can support. We are fortunate to have such an incredible family of Patrons and Supporters who, as with all charities, we simply could not exist without – but as the need for our service continues to grow, so does our need for new support.”
