October Golf Day Fundraiser

It’s always a relief when the weather plays its part, and this year’s golf day certainly delivered. Dry, not too cold and a fantastic atmosphere brought to the course, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us.

We hope you enjoyed a great day of golf, food and friendly competition.

While creating an outstanding experience for our players is always our priority, there is another important objective at the heart of the event: raising funds to support local young people.

That’s why we are delighted to announce that this year’s Golf Day raised an incredible £18,200. This unbelievable total will help us continue doing what we do for young people across Chorley, and it simply would not have been possible without the generosity and support of everyone who made it on the day.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our fantastic sponsors for helping make this year’s event possible:

And the winners are….

1st place – Arete

2nd place – Butterworth Spengler

Longest Drive – Matt Currie

Nearest the Pin – Neil Haworth

Looking ahead to 2027

After such a successful event, the big question is: shall we do it all again?

The answer is.. of course we will.

As Matt announced on the day, next year’s golf day is already booked and in the diary for Thursday 24 June 2027. We’re back to June, so we’re practically guaranteeing sunshine 🙃

Sponsorship opportunities now available

Sponsorship opportunities for 2027 are already available, alongside team entry places for those keen to secure their spot early.

If you would like to sponsor the event or enter a team for next year, simply get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you once again for your support. It was an absolute pleasure to have you, and we look forward to seeing you back on the course next year.
