Inspire Youth Zone have teamed up with Stonebridge Skates, an independent skater shop and community in Chorley.

This partnership enables thousands of young people to learn from skateboarding professionals and fundamentally learn how to skateboard in a safe and fun environment.

In addition to the the thrill of the ramps and rails, we also run skateboard design courses giving young people the chance to express themselves through skateboard art.

Stonebridge Skate-shop is a hub of the skateboard community, providing a safe space where everyone is welcome and can be found at 94 Market St, Chorley, PR7 2S and open 12 – 6pm Thursday to Sunday.

Inspire Youth Zone is delighted to offer skateboarding as one of their many activities and the array of advantages this brings. Skateboarding in our Sports Hall will develop young people’s coordinating skills, stress relief, reflex, patience and commitment. 

Skateboarding is available on Mondays for Seniors (7pm – 8pm) and Saturdays for Juniors (1:30pm – 2:30pm) 

These sessions are for all abilities and you don’t need to book these sessions in advance, simply turn up to the session and put your name down! You don’t need to bring your equipment either – we have a small number of skateboards and protective gear to lend out!
