Bus transport company Stagecoach and Inspire Youth Zone are pleased to reveal a new initiative that will allow young people to travel to and from Chorley for just £1 per return ticket.

It is hoped that the discounted £1 return ticket will allow more young people from across Chorley to access Inspire Youth Zone, where they can take part in over 20 exciting activities every night for just 50p.

From Monday 16th July the £1 return ticket can be purchased by young people using the 125 bus route travelling from Clayton Brook and Adlington to Chorley. Young people up to the age of 19 will be able to purchase a ticket to and from Chorley between 4:30pm – 10pm from Monday to Saturday.

The Youth Zone is located on Chapel Street, directly opposite the Bus Station, making the bus a popular mode of transport for many Youth Zone members.

Rob Jones, Managing Director at Stagecoach Merseyside, Cheshire and South Lancashire said: “We have seen the tremendous activities available to Chorley’s young people at Inspire Youth Zone and are delighted to be able to help even more young people access the Youth Zone by offering a new reduced rate.”

Janine Blythe, Chief Executive at Inspire Youth Zone, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to Stagecoach for introducing this amazing offer for Chorley’s young people. It will help break down the barriers that many young people face and will allow them to access quality activities in their leisure time.”

On average Inspire Youth Zone receives over 1,500 visits per week from young people aged 8-19. Youth Zone members enjoy a wide range of quality activities including indoor climbing, music, dance, drama, gym, arts & crafts, sports and much more.
