Local business, Chocobella has pledged to support Inspire, Chorley Youth Zone this Easter by holding an Eggstravagnza online raffle with amazing prizes from the community.

Helping raise awareness and much-needed funds, the top prize will be a giant Chocobella Easter egg which retails over £100, plus many other items with each ticket costing £5 and all profits raised will go towards Inspire and help continue the critical work they provide in Chorley. The charity’s mission is to support children and young people throughout the pandemic and beyond – ensuring every person always has someone to talk to, providing positive guidance and raising aspirations.

Victoria Garside, owner at Chocobella said: “We are incredibly proud to support this fantastic charity, and combining our love of chocolate, this was the perfect way to give something back to the local community. I’m also involved with Totally Locally Chorley and would encourage all members and businesses to dig deep and support such an important cause which is on our doorstep.”

Josh Vosper, Business & Community Fundraiser at Inspire said: “We’d like to thank Victoria and everyone at Chocobella for their delicious donations and support for our charity. We continue to raise funds by supporting children and young people within Chorley and beyond. Despite all obstacles and challenges the pandemic has brought, we are doing all that we can for children and young people with every penny changing lives.”

Matt Hirst is the CEO of leading energy technology provider ESG with over 700 staff and operations in the USA, Canada and the UK. ESG’s UK headquarters are based in Chorley, Lancashire.

 

ESG empowers global leaders in energy to deliver on the future promise of energy through its SAAS solutions for Customer and Market Data Management and Smart Metering. Matt has a background in Sales and Marketing and led a MBO of UK company Utiligroup in 2014 before it was acquired by ESG in 2017 and has been with the business for 24 years. Matt won an EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2016 as well as being a judge in 2018 and in 2017 his team was awarded the UK Regional and National Mid Market Management Team of the Year awards by the BVCA. Matt holds a BSc (Hons) degree from The University of Salford and a MBA from Lancaster University.
