50 Quid. 8 Weeks. Infinite Impact.
Businesses from across Chorley and the surrounding area came together this year to prove that a small investment can create an extraordinary impact.
And what an impact it was – you raised a huge £12,452.84
The Inspire Corporate Challenge 2026 invited teams to take an initial £50 stake and transform it into as much money as possible over eight weeks – all in support of local young people.
What followed was an inspiring display of creativity, teamwork and community spirit.
From bake sales and family fun days to cycling challenges, skydives, raffles, workplace events and handcrafted products, participating teams embraced the challenge with energy and imagination.
Sponsored by Brysdales, this year’s campaign demonstrated the power of collaboration between local businesses and Inspire Youth Zone.
This was more than fundraising.
Every pound raised helps Inspire Youth Zone create a safe, supportive and inspiring environment where young people can learn new skills, build confidence and develop positive relationships.
In the last 12 months alone, Inspire has:
- Supported 3,404 young people
- Delivered 1,706 sessions
- Provided 13,504 free meals
- Delivered 3,184 hours of youth work
- Welcomed young people through its doors 61,444 times
As a charity, Inspire must raise more than £1.6 million every year to continue delivering these essential services.
The cost of providing support is significant – from subsidised meals and free fruit and vegetables to specialist SEND and inclusion sessions, every donation directly helps create brighter futures for local young people.
