Inspire gifts town with a special tree from The Queens Green Canopy

Children’s charity, Inspire Youth Zone, was honoured to be donated a special tree from the ‘Tree of Trees’ by their Founding Trustee, Mr James Carter DL. The tree is part of a living legacy in honour of Her Majesty and stood tall as a message of hope, regeneration and optimism to the nation, and the world, as part of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Inspire joins 350 organisations from across the UK who were recipients of these special trees given in a pot embossed with Her Majesty’s cypher. On behalf of the towns young people, Inspire have gifted this tree to the people of Chorley.

“A massive thank you to children’s charity, Inspire, for this incredible gift to our town. I’ve seen first-hand the difference that they make, not just to those who walk through their doors, but right across the community. I can certainly understand why they were gifted with such an honour. This special legacy will now continue to grow in our town and stand tall to all as a continued message of hope, regeneration, and optimism.”
